I had an overall great experience with the Princeton review. When I first came, I was a little bit intimidated because it was so quiet and serious, but later found this very helpful because I was able to focus better. The atmosphere later on also became very pleasant, especially after I became more friendly with the teachers and the fellow students there to the point where it actually ended up being a very fun and comfortable space for me. The TA teachers were very helpful and always offered to help me even when they didn’t need to. All of the TA teachers were very friendly, put together, and I felt as though I could ask them with any question and they would be able to answer. As for the actual teachers of the lessons, I especially had the best experience with teachers Tony and Claire. I felt as though my reading significantly improved under teacher Tony’s lessons and saw an improved score change on the weeks he was my teacher. Teacher Claire provided a lot of support for me and helped me with my math, even after I had left Korea. All of the teachers were very good and helped me improve my score, and I don’t have a specific teacher that I had any negative feelings towards. All the teachers seemed like they actually wanted to help me and always offered to help me extra if I seemed like I was struggling. The layout and scheduling of actual classes I would say was overall good. The only thing that I felt overwhelmed with at first was the amount of work that I had. I felt that if I had a little bit less homework I would’ve been able to review the things I got wrong after the tutoring school was over. I always studied after doing the homework but it definitely took up a lot of time since we also had vocabulary to memorize. The tests were pretty reasonable and the lessons reflected the practice tests pretty well. Finally, as for the online lessons I took before the August exam I felt as though they were pretty good. However, the only thing I would change is to give less homework since I was going to school at the same time, and felt that I didn’t have much time to review. If I didn’t have school, however I feel as though the homework load would’ve been pretty reasonable. I think the only reason why it seemed like a lot and I didn’t have a lot of time to review, was because I was also doing schoolwork at the same time. Overall, I had a really good experience with the teachers and Princeton review as a whole. I ended up having a really great time and learning a lot about college during my time there and I would definitely recommend it to people that I know.
